I think Pedro would agree, as do I. After all, don't some clowns (I think he calls them the dreamers) have an absence of sexuality - even though we see Henry and 'The Beautiful Girl Across the Hall' descend into a bed of white viscous fluid, there's still a sense in which he's lost in a world he doesn't quite understand.
But then, I've been thinking about Eraserhead for a long time.
